So, it’s been one whole week since Jacob popped the question (finally), I thought I would tell you all how he did it!

On our last day in Paris, Jacob, myself and Trina (old youth leader) caught up for breakfast and coffee. After getting lost trying to find Trina, we eventually got to a cute little coffee shop, ordered coffee and headed to a bakery to get some yummy food. I can’t remember the name of what I got, but it was delicious!

After getting our food, we decided to sit by the Eiffel Tower to eat and people watch. When we finished our food, Trina suggested going to a place where we could get some typical touristy photos with the whole Eiffel Tower in it. So off we went across a bridge and went up to a building (forgot the name of it…). Jacob gave his phone to Trina to take some photos on. Trina then got her camera out so she could take a few photos for her scrapbook. All the while, I had absolutely no idea what was about to happen.

Once Trina had her camera out, Jacob turned to me and told me lots of mushy stuff I’m sure you don’t want to hear, and then his hand reached into his pocket as he bent down on one knee and said the four words I had been wanting to hear for a while! After much excitement, hugs, and kissing, I said yes!

So, my dream since I was a little girl came true! I got proposed to in front of the Eiffel Tower at 21 years old!
